The first opportunity for future college players to announce their intended collegiate destinations saw quite a few Spokane Sounders players unveil where they are headed on the recent National Signing Day.
Congratulations to the following players that will be continuing their playing careers at the collegiate level per their announcements on National Signing Day:
Maggie Ames (Concordia University), Marissa Bankey (Seattle Pacific University), Taryn Baxter (Mercyhurst University), Conner Cary (Air Force Academy), AJ Crooks (University of Alabama), Chloe Gellhaus (Seattle Pacific University), Jocelyn Gross (Cedarville University), Kailyn LaBrosse (Concordia University), Emmy Moore (University of Idaho) and Grace Rogers (University of Jamestown)
We look forward to many more players announcing after the new year with the NWAC signing window opening in January and the National Letter of Intent day coming in early February.
"We are thrilled to see so many young women and men continue their pursuit of the game they love into the college landscape," said coach and boys college advisor Nick Piger. "Players are attending schools from coast to coast, which is something that will bode well for future graduation classes. These players are building new relationships with college programs at every competition level, and we know that their continued success will open the doors for future Sounders players. The organization looks forward to additional signings in the spring, and we congratulate all of those who signed during the early signing period."
