Semifinal Bound: Cups & RCL Round-Up - February 2019

Spokane SC Shadow has joined the Women’s Premier Soccer League as an expansion club, adding one of the region’s top programs in women’s soccer development into the league fold beginning in 2019.

RCL Round-Up - December 2018
As we head toward the new year, we take a look at the fall seasons from the high school boys groups, where the younger boys and girls sides stand midway through their campaigns, and how the high school girls have started from their opening games of their slate. Among the results, two boys sides won their division or earned promotion while two others are atop the table heading into the new year.

With a light league schedule for December, an incredible number of Spokane Sounders players will be focusing this month preparing for the upcoming West Region ODP Championships in Phoenix as 78 players were selected for the 10 Eastern Washington EPD sides set to compete.

With a record number of Spokane representatives in the US Youth Soccer National League Northwest Conference this season, nine of the 12 Spokane Sounders teams that are members of the US Youth Soccer National Leagues Program will kick off the heart of their 2018-19 campaigns at the Portland Timbers Alliance College Showcase this weekend.

After spending two separate weeks in Reno, NV, along with a developmental period in between, SSC Shadow Director of Coaching Mike Pellicio is now certified to instruct US Soccer Grassroots courses and the D-License.

SSC Players Highlight Local & State High School Honors
Leading the way in the fall high school honors were nine Spokane Sounders players featured on the GSL All-League First Team and five players that were honored as Most Valuable Player in their leagues. In all, 39 players from the club were honored by their respective leagues. Eleven players were later also honored as All-State Selections, including six First Team award winners.
